Treatment of infertility in women in the following clinical situations:
1. Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation to mature multiple follicles during an assisted reproduction program (i.e., in vitro fertilization/embryo transfer; IVF/ET, gamete intrafallopian transfer; GIFT, zygote intrafallopian transfer; ZIFT, intracytoplasmic sperm injection; ICSI)
2. Anovulation in women that is not treated with clomiphene citrate (WHO Group II patients with polycystic ovary disease (PCOD))
